Welcome to Kalena Advisors. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the coaching services offered by Kalena Advisors (the “Service”). By engaging in our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
0. Definitions
To clarify key terms used in this document:
- Session: A one-hour coaching session purchased by a Client based on either Standard or Premium level support.
- Discount: A percentage reduction applied to the price based on the total number of sessions purchased in a single transaction.
- Client: A user of the Kalena Advisors Service.
- Payment Methods: Approved payment options including Stripe, Venmo, and Wise.
1. Introduction
1.1 Kalena Advisors offers coaching services in product management and technology. These Terms apply to all users (“Clients”), unless otherwise specified.
1.2 The Kalena Advisors website (“Website”) is owned and operated by Kalena Advisors, a company registered in Canada. Our registered email contact is hello @ kalenaadvisors.com.
1.3 By using our Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Client Responsibilities
2.1 Clients must ensure their personal information is accurate and up-to-date.
2.2 Clients must not use the platform for illegal or inappropriate activities, including sharing offensive or defamatory content.
2.3 Clients must report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to Kalena Advisors.
2.4 Clients must be at least 18 years old or have guardian consent.
2.5 Clients may book up to 3 consecutive sessions per day.
3. Platform Rights and Responsibilities
3.1 Kalena Advisors will make efforts to ensure website functionality and security.
3.2 Client data will be protected in line with the Kalena Advisors Privacy Policy.
3.3 Kalena Advisors reserves the right to suspend accounts for violating these Terms.
4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
4.1 Kalena Advisors is not liable for loss of data, revenue, or profits due to the use of the Service.
4.2 Kalena Advisors is not responsible for external factors such as internet failures or third-party payment processor errors.
4.3 Kalena Advisors is not liable for the actions of individual coaches.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment for sessions is due at the time of purchase and must be made before scheduling. Sessions scheduled without payment will be deemed invalid.
5.2 Each session is valid for 30 days per service purchased. For example:
- 1 session expires in 30 days
- 10 sessions expire in 300 days
5.3 Effective December 31, 2024, Kalena Advisors will no longer support Zelle as a payment method. Accepted payment methods are Stripe, Venmo, and Wise.
5.4 All fees and prices are listed in USD unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without notice.
6. Discounts
Discount pricing is applied based on the total number of sessions purchased in a single transaction. The discount rates and expiry dates are as follows:

6.1 Discounts apply only to single transactions and cannot be combined across multiple purchases.
7. Scheduling
7.1 Sessions must be booked using the approved scheduling method (e.g., Calendly) provided by Kalena Advisors. Rescheduling policies are:
- Sessions cannot be rescheduled within 48 hours of the start time; these will be considered forfeited and fulfilled.
- Sessions between 48 hours and 7 days away can be rescheduled once with mutual written agreement.
- Sessions more than 7 days away can be rescheduled twice with mutual written agreement.
7.2 If you fail to join within 20 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be considered forfeited and fulfilled.
7.3 Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations will result in forfeited fees.
8. Refunds & Transfers
8.1 Payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable consumer protection laws.
8.2 Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to hello @ kalenaadvisors.com for approval.

9. Intellectual Property and Content Use
9.1 Clients must not record or distribute session materials without permission.
9.2 Kalena Advisors retains the right to anonymize and use aggregated data for service improvement.
10. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
10.1 Kalena Advisors offers a limited satisfaction guarantee for first-time users: a refund for half of the session cost if dissatisfaction is claimed within 12 hours of the session. Criteria include:
- The coach fails to appear for more than 15 minutes of the allotted hour.
- The client fails to provide necessary information (e.g., target jobs or resume details for resume assistance).
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, and applicable federal Canadian laws.
12. Change Notification Timeline
Kalena Advisors reserves the right to make changes to the Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Website. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
